Wohl uns, dass wir noch sind!

Wir sehn aufs alte Jahr zurück,
und haben neuen Mut.
Ein neues Jahr, ein neues Glück.
Die Zeit ist immer gut.

Ein neues Jahr, ein neues Glück,
Wir ziehen froh hinein.
Und: Vorwärts, vorwärts, nie zurück !
Das soll unsre Lösung sein.
