Spiegel Online berichtet über die Tüte im All:
"Einen zweiten verdächtigen Gegenstand, den Astronaut Daniel Burbank am heutigen Mittwochmorgen fotografiert hatte, hält die US-Weltraumbehörde Nasa inzwischen für eine Plastiktüte. Es handelt sich dabei nicht um dasselbe Stück, das am Vortag durchs Bild gerauscht war. Mehr steht noch nicht fest. "Bisher wissen wir nichts über die beiden Dinge", sagte Nasa-Sprecher Hans Schlegel."
Juhuuuu! Eine Tüte im Weltall! Wie ist sie dort hingekommen? Eine Kollegin von mir meinte, Termik. Einfach hochgeflogen. Unwahrscheinlich? Check this picture ;)

Hi all!
Kennt ihr das? "Heidi's Friseur-Laden" oder "Hanno's Tattoo-Oase" und so weiter uns so weiter...
Logwaver wissen sowas: Apostroph hat hier nichts zu suchen. Z.B. heißt es "Heidis Friseur-Laden". Klar. Aber leider glaubt einem das keiner ;)
"Deppenapostroph" ist nicht meiner Erfindung. Ich habe mal dezent bei dieser tollen Seite geklaut.
So, also hiermit wird die Reihe eröffnet. Ich poste hier nur wirklich selbst erfahrene Fälle. Solltet ihr ebenfalls ähnliches finden Off- oder Online könnt ihr mir gerne einen Logwaver-Mail schicken.

Wie ihr wisst (als aufmerksame Leser meines Blogs), waren wir am Wochenende in Karlsruhe bei der Oma. Es trug sich also zu, dass wir einen Ausflug nach Baden-Baden machten.
Dort besuchten wir die Chagall-Austellung und der liebe Toiletten-slayer knippste gleich ein tolles Toiletten-Bild mit seiner 2-Mega-Pixel-Autofocus-Handy-Geil-Kamera. Die Toiletten dort sehr sauber, ganz toll...

Wir sind recht früh ins Wochenende abgehauen und fuhren unsere Rechner schon gegen 16 Uhr runter. Dann haben wir bei Budget einen Opel abgeholt und sind noch einmal kurz heimgefahren. Dort haben wir unsere Sachen gepackt und die Katzen abschliessend versorgt.
Das Navi hat uns sicher und schnell nach Karlsruhe zu meiner Oma gelotst. Die Omi hat uns schon mit lecker und reichlich Abendessen erwartet. Nach dem Essen haben wir noch gemütlich einen leckeren Weißwein getrunken und dann ins Bett getorkelt. Dabei haben wir auch die Trinkhalle besucht ;) Siehe Bild.
Am Samstag sind wir recht früh raus und mit der Tram nach Baden-Baden gefahren. Dort haben wir uns die Stadt angeschaut und waren in der Chagall-Austellung im Museum Frieder Burda.
Dann fuhren wir nach Bad Herrenalb gefahren und haben im Restaurant Klosterscheuer sehr gut gegessen!
Abends haben wir den mitgebrachten Champagner geköpft. Dann sind wir müde ins Bett. Am Sonntag vormittag habe ich meiner Oma ein bisschen von logwave.com erzählt; sie findet es toll.
Dann das übliche: Heimfahren, freuen, dass es den Katzen gut geht. Auspacken, ausruhen und baden und schlafen :)
Ein gutes Wochenende! Ach, und in dem Museum habe ich natürlich noch die Toilette fotografiert!

Hi all, meine Frau und ich machen uns demnächst auf den Weg nach Karlsruhe zu meiner Oma. Dort gibt es kein Internet ;) Und daher werdet ihr von mir erst am Sonntag abend wieder was hören bzw. lesen.

Der Herr Kollege shakedown berichtet über den Marktstart von Nintendos neuer Konsole und wirf elegant mal das Wort "Nunchaku" in den Raum. Das ist wohl der neuartige Controller der Konsole.
Ein Blick auf Wikipedia zeigt zudem das hier: "Das Nunchaku (wörtl. verbundenes Paar Stöcke) ist eine im Kaiserreich China entwickelte und auf Okinawa perfektionierte Waffe, die in Verbindung mit Elementen des Karate eingesetzt wird. Bekannt geworden ist es im Westen durch die meisterhafte Handhabung von Bruce Lee."
Und es stimmt. Der Nintendo-Controller besteht ebenfalls aus zwei Elementen die mit einem Kabel verbunden sind. Herzlichen Dank und wieder etwas gelernt...

Amir Massoud Tofangsazan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Amir Tofangsazan is a resident of Barnet, United Kingdom of Iranian origin who is alleged to have defrauded Thomas Sawyer, an eBay buyer also in the UK. In an example of so-called Internet vigilantism, Sawyer erected a satirical blog and popularized it in an attempt to shame Tofangsazan into refunding his money and apologizing. The Blogger username he used is laptopguy.
Sawyer allegedly received, two months after paying, a laptop of lower specifications than those advertised. Furthermore, the appliance was allegedly not operable even with the new charger it required. Sawyer was eventually able to recover data stored on the hard disk of the laptop, upon which it is claimed that he discovered numerous items of personal and financial information relating to Amir and his family, as well as potentially embarrassing pornographic images, and what appear to be camera phone images of the legs of women on the London Underground. He was also able to gain access to Amir's email, and mass-mail contacts in his address book with instructions on how to access a blog featuring some of the photographs and text allegedly recovered from the hard disk
Popularity
The blog, written from the imaginary first-person perspective of Amir, experienced surging popularity, namely after being featured on popular websites such as Digg. The blog's creator claims it reached over 1 million page hits in 8 days in the month of May 2006. It was featured in major media outlets, such as the Daily Mail, the BBC, the Evening Standard and ITV. Thomas Sawyer was dubbed "eBay Avenger" by the Daily Mail. Due to the popularity of the site at the time, Thomas Sawyer was able to sell advertising space on the blog for £460. Ironically this was done through an eBay auction.
Effect of the blog
The blog reportedly made Amir's life "a living hel" at the height of its popularity. He also claimed to have received threatening and racist phone calls. Amir has protested his innocence, claiming the laptop had been used by someone else and that the photos featuring him and data posted on the blog originated from a hacked Hotmail account, and that the laptop was in working condition when he had sent it to the buyer. He also denies any ownership of the photos featuring womens' legs.
The eBay auction
The photos of the laptop have been removed from the original listing but the original specifications are still listed. The photos can be found be on the blog. Amir's account (amir6626) is no longer registered on eBay. Out of the four feedback comments received only one is marked as positive - from a user called nicktofang. Thomas Sawyer, eBay username spikytom, did not post a negative comment against Amir's account.
Other accusations against Amir
The Daily Mail featured a report on another eBay user allegedly defrauded by Amir. According to Debbie McInerney, a 42 year old IT administrator from Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, she sent Amir a £147 cheque for an iPod which she never received.
Follow ups
Thomas Sawyer stopped updating the blog at the height of its popularity and instead provided a link to another anti-Amir blog, featuring news clippings and Photoshopped pictures of Amir in various unflattering situations. An investigation has been started by Barnet Police regarding a claim of "improper use of public electronic communications network" against the blog website. To date, no refund has been issued by Amir for the laptop, nor has any legal action commenced between either party.

"The broken Laptop I sold on Ebay"
Die Geschichte geht so: Ein netter Kerl (nennen wir ihn mal "Amir") verkauft seinen Laptop bei Ebay. Ein anderer netter Kerl ersteht das gute Stück. Leider gibt es ein paar Auseinandersetzungen und es kommt zum Streit. Der Verkäufer will das gute Stück nicht zurücknehmen und dann eskaliert die Geschichte.
Der Verkäufer "rekonstruiert" den früheren Inhalt der Festplatte des Laptops und geht in die Offensive. Plötzlich hat Amir einen eigenen Blog. Dort berichtet er ganz offen über sein Leben.
Er zeigt welche Porno-Bilder er auf seinem Rechner hat, posted verschiedene Lebensläufe von sich selbst. Er liebt es, in der U-Bahn mit seinem Handy Frauen unter den Rock zu fotografieren. Diese Bilder findet ihr auch in seinem Blog.
Also es ist so: Der Käufer rächt sich bitterböse bei Amir indem er alles über sein Leben ausplaudert. Bilder, Porn, Fetisch-Sachen, Lebensläufe, E-Mails... All das veröffentlicht der Gute im Namen Amirs. Rache ist bitter...

I've tried to claim that it wasn't my laptop and that it belonged to an 'employee' of mine. Why then did it have my CV, photos of me, my passport, my MSN and my bank details on it?, as well as this picture of me sitting in front of the laptop?!
Hmmm, i guess I'm just a bad liar! Anyway, let me know what you think of my fraudulent behaviour!"

Ich kann es nicht glauben. Kann man wirklich so dumm sein? Laut news.com.au haben Fans des kürzlich verstorbenen Steve Irvins zwei Stachelrochen wohl aus Rache dahingemetzelt. Steve Irvin wurde von einem Stachelrochen ("Stingray") ins Herz gestochen und verstarb sofort.
Hier ein Auszug aus der News:
"Two stingrays were found today at Deception Bay, north of Brisbane, with their tails cut off, while up to eight stingrays were found in similar circumstances yesterday on Dundowran Beach, near Hervey Bay.
But Wildlife Warrior executive director Michael Hornby, a friend of Mr Irwin, said the killings could be in retaliation to his death – behaviour which flew in the face of everything the Crocodile Hunter believed in.
“We just want to make it very clear that we will not accept and not stand for anyone who's taken a form of retribution. That's the last thing Steve would want,” he said.
“Stingrays are beautiful creatures and play an important role for the environment.
“I hope everyone understands we have to protect wildlife now more than ever. This is what Steve was all about.”
Ehrlich, manche Leute sind so unglaublich dumm!

Angeregt von Platos Blog über den guten Herrn Ralph H. Baer habe ich mal die Wikipedia konsultiert und will euch das Gefundene nicht vorenthalten. Ein wenig gekürzt habe ich für euch :)
"Ralph H. Baer (born March 8, 1922) is a German-born American inventor, noted for his many contributions to games and the video game industry. He invented the home console for video games.
Two months before Kristallnacht, he escaped from Germany with his family. In America he was self-taught and worked in a factory. He graduated from the National Radio Institute as a radio service technician in 1940. In 1943 he was drafted to fight in World War II.
Baer graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television Engineering (unique at the time) from the American Television Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1949. He worked for a few electronics firms and started his own company before joining Sanders in 1958, where he stayed until retiring in 1987.
Baer is best known for leading the development of the Brown Box, the first home video game console. After being sold to Magnavox and being renamed Magnavox Odyssey, the console was released to the public in 1972. Baer, who has a background in television work, developed the system in 1966 for the defense-electronics company Sanders Associates in Nashua, New Hampshire. It was licensed to Magnavox and for a time was Sanders' most profitable line, even though many in the company looked down on game development.
Baer created the first light gun for home television use, known as the Shooting Gallery. He also invented Simon, an electronic pattern-matching game that was immensely popular in the late 1970s and 1980s. He is now partnered with Bob Pelovitz of MicroPROS Technology Solutions, and they have been inventing and marketing toy and game ideas since 1983."
Das nenne ich mal eine Vita! Und: Ohne Nazis wäre der Mr. Baer der Herr Bär und die Gaming-Konsole eine Deutsche Erfindung. Aber dann wären auch die Deutschen auf den Mond geflogen... Räusper ;)
