Habt ihr das gelesen? Wegen der Vogelgrippe haben die Ölscheichs nun Angst um ihre Jagdfalken!

Jeder gute arabische Scheichs braucht einen Jagdfalken. Wozu weiss ich auch nicht - gibt es in der Wüste etwas zu jagen? Wüstenspringmäuse?

Die Vögel gelten im arabischen Raum wohl eher als Statussymbole - so wie hier zu Lande teure Schlitten oder Mondflüge ;)

Damit nun die Vogelgrippe nicht auf die teuren Greifvögel übergreift wurde in Abu Dhabi die Jagd mit Falken kurzerhand verboten. Aus iss mit der königlichen Jagd!

Man hofft so vermeiden zu können, dass die Vogelgrippe auf die edlen Tiere überspringt.

Ich meine: Diese Probleme mag ich mal haben :D
