Hundreds of 'Sober'-Messages...

My dear. That was pure fun when I checked my E-Mails this morning. Wow! 500 Mails? That is great. But wait - I have only three friends. Who could send me all that messages?

Yeah, right. SPAM. Spam, Spam, Spam. All containing my beloved Sober worm.

To be honest with you. I do not give a shit on those mails and viruses. First I have a nice flatrate and downloading does not matter in terms of money and time, second my spam filter works at an impressing 99.9% accuracy level, third I AM USING A MAC. :P

So I am not talking bullshit: I really do not care. However I wonder: When I got about 500 E-Mails today, I guess you and you and you got at least 500 as well, don't you?

It is said that there are about 1 billion (2005 figures) of Internet users. Did they all get 500 E-Mails today? Why is someone sending that many instead of just one? Does that increase the probability that Computers get infected? What is the logic behind it?

What a strange world we are living in ;)

They did'nt sent 500 mails to me...i advice they don't try it in future...otherwise...unbelievable pain will be their punishment....

My Firewall is pretty good, thus i don't fear viruses on my pc...:)

so you want to say, that you do not buy viagra or microsoft office products regullarly via the net? ;))

i just guess, that, as long as the "costs" are so low for crooks, they will continue to send that stuff to millions, trying to rip of 10 out of them.

only if you could really sue them for real amounts, i believe, they will stop.

and until then, it´s a nice business for firewall and whatever developers;)))
